In most cases the aptitude tests are the same as IQ test which is to classify you as a genious, average or idiot. This test usually contains a series of tasks typically divide the tasks into verbal and performance, or non-verbal . Examples of verbal IQ test tasks are vocabulary and information (answering general knowledge questions). Non-verbal examples are timed completion of puzzles (object assembly), making designs out of coloured blocks (block design).Neuropsychological test attempts to measure deficits in cognitive functioning.
